Kim Bixler - A&S ’91: is a songwriter, author, playwright and public speaker. In addition to her musicals, plays and monologues, Kim has authored and edited several books, including her latest: Growing Up in a Frank Lloyd Wright House. Kim can be seen in the PBS documentary Frank Lloyd Wright’s Boynton House: The Next Hundred Years and is a sought-after lecturer and speaker in both the field of architecture, and navigating her Musical Theater Midlife Crisis: what it’s like going back to graduate school for musical theater at age 52. 

 

Kim’s the past president and a longtime programming chair and volunteer for CCLA. She loves planning behind-the-scenes tours, theater and art events. 
 

Pamela Chen - MBA '98:  Pamela is the current President of Cornell Club of Los Angeles and also served as a member of CCLA's Finance and Investment Committee. She is the founder of Refresh Investments, a fee-only wealth management firm that helps women and families grow and manage their wealth. Her professional career spans over 30 years as a CPA and CFA Charterholder and includes Senior Portfolio Manager positions at Northern Trust and U.S. Trust where she managed assets for institutions and high net worth clients. Pam is a member of the President Council of Cornell Women and earned a Bachelor of Science degree from UCLA.
 

Gaye Tomlinson - MBA '05:  As the Founder and CEO of Ardent Energy Solutions, Gaye's vision is clear: to help their clients save $1 billion over the next 10 years by adopting clean energy solutions and reducing their carbon footprint. She is passionate about simplifying the complex world of energy so companies can make these critical changes easily and affordably.

Having spent 17 years developing solar energy and LEED projects, Gaye understands the real-world outcomes often differ from theoretical models. Her company's hands on experience allows them to offer practical solutions that align with their clients' goals, timelines, and budgets. Gaye has an engineering background and holds an MBA from Cornell University.

Lily Zhao - SHA '18:  Lily has built a career spanning food, technology, and entertainment. After starting her career in private equity at Oaktree Capital / Bellwether Asset Management, she transitioned to the food-tech industry, where she started her own company, and worked directly with Instacart cofounder Brandon Leonardo. At Instacart, she was also chosen to lead DEB (Diversity, Equity, and Belonging) initiatives for the retail team, and is passionate about equitable outcomes in the workforce. She's currently pursuing a Certificate in Screenwriting and Entertainment at UCLA Extension.
